Getting Started
What is TaxSocial?
A professional community for tax and finance in India. CAs, CSs, CMAs, Advocates, and business professionals share articles, insights, and connect with each other.
How do I register?
Click "Sign Up" and register with your email (OTP verification) or Google account. Pick a username and you're ready to go.
How do I write an article?
Click "Add Blog" in the sidebar. Use the rich text editor to format your content. Choose a tax field category, add tags, and publish. Minimum 150 words required.
How do I follow someone?
Visit their profile and click the "Follow" button. Their articles will appear in your "Following" tab on the home feed.
For Tax Professionals
How do I get the verified badge?
The verified badge shows you are an active, recognized contributor on TaxSocial. Go to your profile page and fill out the "Request Verification" form with your credential type (CA/CS/CMA/Advocate) and registration number. Our team reviews within 2-3 business days. You can also earn it free by publishing 25+ articles.
What are Blog Ideas?
Blog Ideas gives you Fresh article topics daily — sourced from the latest tax updates, case laws, and upcoming due dates. Each idea comes with AI-generated article and banner prompts. Go to Blog > Ideas tab. Free until you publish 25 blog articles, then ₹1,180/year (incl. 18% GST).
What is Enhanced Analytics?
Beyond basic stats (views, likes, followers), premium analytics shows follower growth trends, best posting times, and article-by-article comparison. Free for first 3 months, then ₹1,180/year (incl. 18% GST).
How do I add my credentials?
Go to Profile > Edit Profile. You can add credential badges (CA, CS, CMA, etc.), registration number, years of experience, education, specialization, and social links.
For Business Users
How do I find a tax professional?
Use the Professional Directory to search by city, tax field (GST, Income Tax, etc.), and credentials. It's completely free.
Can I message a professional directly?
Yes! Visit their profile and click "Message". Free users can send up to 10 messages per day.
Is the directory free?
Yes, the Professional Directory is completely free for everyone — no login required to browse.
Account & Safety
How do I report inappropriate content?
Click the report button on any article or profile. Choose a reason (spam, abuse, impersonation, misleading) and submit. Our team reviews all reports.
How do I block someone?
Visit their profile and click the "Block" button. Blocked users can't see your content, message you, or interact with your posts.
Is the content on TaxSocial professional advice?
No. TaxSocial is a community platform. All content is user-generated opinions and analysis, not professional tax or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for your specific situation.
